Testimonials That Keep Us Motivated

Brian Phillips

President Copabanana

Back in the Winter of 2023 as our industry was still suffering the effects of Covid we were presented with an opportunity to permanently permit our Streetery that we had been using as a life support through the Covid shutdown. We were happy for the opportunity but at the same time nervous about being rejected and losing the beautiful outdoor area that had become such a wonderful space for the community to enjoy a good meal or to socialize with friends and colleagues. I am truly grateful for the help and guidance provided by Nate Hommel & UCD to help the Copabanana secure our Streetery Permit. Once again Nate Hommel & UCD proved to be a valuable resource for local homegrown small business's who may not have the resources that the big players have to successfully navigate through the difficult process. And for that we are truly grateful. Thank you Nate Hommel and the UCD Team.

George Poulin

Powelton Village Civic Association

"UCD & Nate Hommel has proven an invaluable resource for the PVCA's recently completed community master
planning process. As a member of the planning advisory committee, Nate Hommel worked with the PVCA to identify qualified consultants, offered visionary ideas for improvements to the public realm, and ensured that the PVCA's objectives considered broader City efforts planned or underway. As we shift towards plan implementation we look forward to collaborating with Nate Hommel and UCD to solve many of the community's most pressing challenges."

Thanks!
George

"Nate's engaging lecture and insightful walking tour of University City District provided our delegates with an unparalleled understanding of UCD's success. We are grateful for his expertise and dedication to showcasing this remarkable project. We are confident that the lessons learned from UCD will guide our own development efforts in Korea."

Ben Siroley

President, Friends of Clark Park

UCD & Nate Hommel were a tremendous partner in the development of the Clark Park Plan. Nate helped bring together the entire University City community and sheppard the plan through to completion. Throughout the last year, UCD's guidance and support to the Friends of Clark Park were
invaluable.

Cat Hoffman

President, Cedar Park Neighbors

UCD & Nate Hommel helped Cedar Park activate a long-dormant plaza along a vibrant stretch of Baltimore Avenue with bright cafe tables and chairs. This urban intervention not only  provides a public space to gather, eat, and rest, but it supports our local businesses. I'm excited for another opportunity to work with Nate and UCD.
